Description | NGC 281 is an open cluster involved in an emission nebula in Cassiopeia, located 10,000 light years from the sun. The nebulosity is extremely faint in a telescope, requiring very dark skies and averted vision. This object is knows as the Pac-Man Nebula, because of its resemblance to the character in the video game. |
